Road trip part II: Windmills and red poppy.

That’s what you will find on the island Öland. Besides rocks of course! And rain! At least that is what we found. And since it was raining cats and dogs outside, we didn’t really leave our car that much. But grandpa stopped the car every once in a while for me to take some pictures. Thank god the island was pretty lonely that day and no other cars had to build a line behind us.

Dirt on my cake.

When I was still living in Germany my mama would make a cake every now and then that we called “molehill-cake”. It basically looks like a big pile of dirt. Delicious! Since I felt a little bit homesick over my birthday, I decided to bake something that reminded me of my birthdays at home. So here we go:
