I have some CDs and songs that will always remind me of a specific time in my life. Songs that remind me of my childhood, kindergarden and school, graduating high school and all the fun weekends with my friends, songs that I listened to while driving my car to school or work everyday, songs that I heard in movies, theaters and clubs, lyrics that helped my through rough times or that were just able to express what I was feeling in a much better way. Whenever I listen to one of these songs it’s like a flashback of pictures, thoughts, emotions and memories. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good ;) Today I’m adding a new song to that list, Somebody that I used to know, by Gotye ft Kimbra.
great Aussie artist! this song is on repeat in my home!
Hello! I have just found your blog and was looking through your recent posts. This is one of my new favorite songs too! And at first I found the video a bit strange, but now I really like the video as well.
Looking forward to reading more.

Thank you so much!
I know the video is a little special, but they really did a good job filming it with all the body painting and that.
I’m listening to this now, as I write my new post!! They are #1 in Australia – so my friends from home tell me!
I can’t stop listening to it either :) What’s your new post about?
The Gramercy neighbourhood in NY – check it out (in a few hours) if you’d like! Gotye is on repeat. Eyes Wide Open is also a great song… and so is Hearts a Mess. Let me know if you like them!
